I'm sorry about the slightly weird ill-lit photos I post here at the moment - it's that time of year and the weekends are just too short to catch some good daylight.
Here's my new scarf in my favourite purple; it's Ronaes by Karina Westermann aka Karie Bookish - the first pattern from her recent Doggerland collection. If you've read about the collection (and you should), you'll understand why which was such an appropriate knit to bring on a recent weekend trip across the North Sea.
The shawl features a classic construction: Short rows shape the garter stitch centre, and the edging is knit on sideways afterwards. Brilliant! The resulting scarf/shawl is easy to wear as you can see from the photos.

Yarn: Blackhill Højlandsuld from Garnudsalg.dk, Lilla, 68 g.
Needles: 4.5 mm
